Then we headed back to mainland Nassau to catch up with our afternoon excursion, which was the YellowBird party boat. It started out pretty cool, with a live 4-man band playing as we made our way to the destination. We were given unlimited complementary cups of rum punch, 2 at time. We sat on the top deck with our drinks and just stared out to sea, listening to the music.
At least this time we had the island to ourselves (and whoever else was on the boat) and really got to enjoy the beach. It was a lot warmer at this time, so I spent most of the time in the water, swimming and snorkeling. On the way back, the party boat had a DJ playing all kinds of music, and more complimentry rum punch. Somehow, the second trip to Blackbeard's Cay was much better than the first! If we had known that both excursions would have taken us to the same place, we would have done something different in the morning! If you go to Nassau and need something to do in the afternoon (like there's not enough stuff there to do!), I recommend getting loose and taking the party boat tour.
