John was driving back home to Arizona from Arkansas where he had spent a one month holiday so he decided to send me a message on travbuddy to see if we could have coffee or something. I was organizing a mini meet up in Phoenix which turned out to be in Scottsdale after all and John was included on the invitation, he replied to my invite and politely informed me he was out of town but would like to stop by since he was driving right through Tucson. Naturally I was excited to meet another travbuddy here in Tucson. We agreed to meet on Tuesday when he expected he would be driving through Tucson, but this did not happen because he had to spend Tuesday night in New Mexico.
To cut it short, we finally made it to the Red Robin at the Tucson Mall and had two refreshing glasses of Melon Margarittas. John is an adventurous soul with such excitement for new destinations: he wants to get into the travel industry so he can travel free. We shared travel stories for about 35 minutes and learned that we had both been to a really small town in Germany that no one would really talk of. He mentioned his trip to Bangkok and how excited he was to be going there. I decided it was time to take some TB shots and discovered had left my camera at home by my computer desk (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!), well luckily John had his and he promised to send me copies of the photos he takes, so here they are . . .
John (www.travbuddy.com/pensacolapyro), I wonder what his username means, I should have asked.
