Meeting travbuddies Roger (X-Drive), Judy (Hummingbird) & Bogdan (worldrunner)
Before my
I find that I'm directionally challenged many times unless I'm behind the wheel. Poor Judy unknowingly asks me if they should turn left or right once they get to the Kolb (270) exit from I-10, and I say right. They ended up in the boonies and Roger called me back for directions. The only other option was the left of course, lol!!! Well they made it just fine into
Roger was not feeling too well so he did not order a full meal; he had some soup to sooth his upset tummy, Judy ordered something small as well. I was simply amazed at how much driving they were doing and how poised they both looked. Roger has a quiet charm about him and Judy is so much fun to converse with. My daughter on the other hand was so excited that she was talking all sort of pictures (some of which I had to delete because they were blurred). She ceased each moment to be in the pictures and could not help herself when we asked her to take the group picture • I must say she did a great job, the blog profile picture was taken by her, hahaaaa!
The sun was rather hot that day, but the brisk wind made it feel so nice and fresh to sit outside rather than inside.
We however had trouble getting some good photo shots since the shade over the porch we were seating under had strips that let the sun peer through in strips the photos describe that better, lol!! We had lunch for just about an hour; Judy and Roger had to be on their way if they were to make it to their next stop which was Wilcox. They made a stop in
