WORK -> MELBOURNE -> SYDNEY -> BLUE MOUNTAINS -> SYDNEY -> MELBOURNE -> WORK My weeklong journey to the Land Down Under. Tiring, but definitely fun! This was, I thought, the best way to celebrate my 27th birthday, tough a lil' late. And I was damn right! Haaaaafff! I just left my heart in Australia. :)

April 8 has always been my favorite day of the year as I am made to feel that my birth day can launch people around me move all for my favor.. which luckily includes a boss approving a weeklong vacation leave on a peak season. And with good hotel deals, and some convincing words from friends, it wasn't hard to choose a destination--- THE LAND DOWN UNDER. The only minor setback I encountered was that I only had a few days to gather all the requirements for that most-precioused visa. Good thing I was able to get all of them on time and the OZ visa was released (oh yeah) a day before my flight. =D

April 18/ Friday

All I had in mind was my flight for Sydney at 8PM. And out of too much excitement, perhaps, I just found myself among a huge crowd, witnessing an entertaining show that featured Koalas, Kangaroos and Wombats.

Ehem... Ehem...

Good thing I came back to my senses and realized I was actually attending our annual sales conference day, with our big bosses as speakers!!! LOL. I just hope they don't get to read this blog.

Grrrrr! All I knew was I was leaving for Australia!

And so right after the last speech, Ped, Ginger and I immediately went to the airport and checked in just in time. We were lucky to get our favorite seats in the exit row which also became our "personal corner" for the next 9 hours. With comfortable seating, it wasn't at all a problem to get a good sleep before the big day. Goodnight, Manila!
