Queenstown to Auckland
November 8, 2007
This morning we were picked up and driven to the airport to check in for our flight to Auckland. We were a bit early but we didn't have time to do anything else. Then the flight to Auckland. When we arrived our chauffeur was waiting. A hotel limo, at an extra cost of course. By the time we were settled into our hotel room we decided to have a late lunch in the Sports bar. Not bad. We definately would only need a light evening meal. We then went to an area of the hotel called the Winery, and had a drink. We didn't leave the hotel complex at all. We have an early early start in the morning so we are just going to chill out. I went to the business hub on our floor and used the computer, we checked out the pool and gym area and then it was time to get ready for a light meal and a few drinks. It was very nice. Then we thought we should try to get some sleep.

The hotel sparkles! The lobby was huge and just off there but in view, there was a lovely light meals/drinks area. There were 2 other restaurants in the hotel plus there was another area which was accessed through a long corridor, where we went to have a late lunch at a reasonable price. There are many meeting rooms off the corridor. On the 2nd floor there is access to the pool and gymnasium area. We were on the 5th floor so there was a business hub near the lifts. Great for catching up with all the emails etc. Altough our room had everything we needed, there was a noisey airconditioning thing outside of our room and the people in the next room were extremely noisey. We added to the luxury by having one of the hotels chauffered limos pick us up from the airport and take us to the airport when we left. The hotel is a little bit out of the city centre but they have a complimentry shuttle at regular times so that you can go to the casino or shopping.
In our room. This had all of the…
