All loaded up waiting to be let into the pensione
Our last day in Berlin so we got up early, sorted ourselves out and headed for the trains.  The train to Prague was fairly quick with a nice modern train.  From Prague to Cesky Krumlov is another matter - slow old things with small compartments.  We decided to get the train as we weren't all that sure of where the bus station was so took the safer option.  We had a bit of a stress while trying to get tickets to Krumlov as we went to a booth which showed the mastercard sign, but after the woman behind the desk printed our tickets and told the price she abruptly told us they don't accept cards - despite the card machine sitting right next to her.  Time was begining to run out but we eventually got the cash from an ATM, got back into another line, got the tickets and then ran to the platform, managing to make it on board with a minute or so to spare.  We found a compartment with only a couple of people in it, sat down and chilled out for the journey.  We had to swap onto a regional small train in Ceske Budejovice but that was simple.

Krumlov is a beautiful town with cobble stone roads, a nice town square, buildings of different bright colours and of course a castle on top of the hill overlooking it all.  It was fairly late and dark by the time we arrived so we checked into the hostel and then went out for diner - a nice plate of goulash and some salad.  Very very tasty.
