Now Verona is a beautiful place! Our B&B wasn't too far from the train station so after dropping off the bag, the owners gave us a map and some places to see, we wandered into the small town. Verona is quite a busy little place, lots of people all over the place, it's probably that the town is so small, people walk everywhere.
It was only a short walk and we found ourselves in the centre of town looking at all the restaurants surrounding the park and the old arena. We decided to go inside and see what it's like - don't waste your money or time. I can't believe they charge money to go in to this place. We could only walk a little part of the corridor, there isn't any information about the arena anywhere except if you pay more and listen to a phone.
We then walked towards the north of the town where Juliet's balcony is landmarked. While walking along we checked out the boutiques, shops and cute little restaurants. When you go through a tunnel to get to the area of the balcony, the walls are covered in graffiti with people professing their love for each other. It's all very romantic just like the town.
We had decided to leave some exploring for the next day so we headed back to one of the cute little restaurants. It was a bit pricey but it was delicious and you have to splurge every now and again.
