The morning in Zadar was very quiet – it wasn't worth trying to make our way in and out of the city before the bas later today. So we just chilled out in the room checking the internet and reading. Eventually time came and we grabbed our bags and walked the last time along the long road to the bus station. We made sure to arrive in plenty of time so we grabbed a bite to eat and some cooldrinks and then boarded the bus. The ride was quite long but the view of the coast made the trip almost enjoyable.
The apartment was a short walk from the main bus/ferry station so after we checked in we changed into our bathers and headed to the beach. The sand beach was very busy but we found a spot on the sand to spread out. We actually didn't go into the water, just laid out on towels and watched groups of people playing in the water.
We stayed there for a while enjoying the sunshine, but it started to cool down as the sun started to hide away so we decided to head back. On the way we stopped in at a little restaurant, originally just for a drink but as we were already there we had a nice dinner as well.
