Best steak ever

Today we had a long train journey from Valencia to Sevilla.  It took around 9 hours to arrive but thankfully it didn't seem to take as long as the train ride to Palermo.  It was early evening by the time we arrived in Sevilla, took the bus into the Triana district and then walked to our hostel.

As we had 2 full days of Sevilla ahead of us and being very tired from the train ride we thought it best to get out there and grab some dinner and then call it a night.  So shortly after checking in we found ourselves out wandering the narrow streets looking for a meal.  We didn't feel like tapas and were pretty much desperate for food, so we walked into a small restaurant near to the hostel.  We couldn't read the menu at all apart from distinguishing which lists were tapas, meat, salads.  One of the waitresses pointed out which were beef, chicken and pork.  We picked the beef not really knowing what part of the cow to expect.  We need not worry at all as it was probably one of the most succulant and tender cuts of meat we'd ever had.  It was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked - we couldn't stop singing it's praises while eating it.  It also helped that we hadn't really had a good cut of steak for a long time so the fact that it was great was a double bonus.

Both extremely content from a great meal, we slowly strolled back to the hostel talking about how good the food was as well as dreaming about all the great stuff we'll be cooking on the bbq once back in Perth.
