I stayed here as my reservation with the hostel I had intended to stay at got sort of screwed up. I showed up at 2 or 3 in the morning, initially intending to just stay for that first night (morning). After I checked out and all of the hostels were either booked or fairly expensive, I went back and got my same room for the rest of my time in Dusseldorf. Three nights total.
The hotel is fine, clean, comfortable bed. Nothing particularly great, but certainly not bad either. I ended up paying €49 per night.
The hotel is on Oststraße, which is walking distance from the main train/bus station, and not too bad walking distance to the old town (I walked it every day), but there are trams available if walking isn’t your thing.
All in all, decent place to stay.
