ShowStars
Sunday was my first day at work and the week was good!
Starting from nothing, we built and set everything for the Bruce Springstone show tonight. I was doing the steel - the scaffolding and it was good, if you don't mind that Sunday and Monday it was rainy like hell.
As for now, I don't have much to say, but it's looking good. The idea is that I'll get to know the work, and then will start to do it up as a climber - on the high scaffolds and that mean a daily rate and not an hourly and be part of a smaller group of people so it's always good.
Long hours, about 7 days a week etc but I'm happy - it's keep me busy and buy me time to think what next.
About 50-60% are not from the UK so it's very nice - good people - Aussies, S.Africans and EU guys
I just need to get use to it - the fact that it's take the big part of your day (about 12-14 hours a day including travel time) but when I think of it, it can be nice to work few months and then take off for a year in Africa :)
I'll try to take some photos in the coming week, to be able to show how it's looks like :)
London seems to be alright now, hope it'll stay like that :)
