Next stop was Adelaide, which I was really looking forward to as it is reputed to have really good food and it is in the middle of a couple of wine regions such as The Clare Valley, The Barossa Valley and more.

The trip to Adelaide was nice, although wet most of the time. We passed lakes and hills, with one of them named Mount Remarkable. We also passed by a town called Dublin, and I couldn’t resist taking a picture of the town sign…

When we got to the Big4 Park, we checked in and went to our cabin, where we were quite disappointed. The cabin was called a “luxury cabin”, but it was very cramped which meant there was no room for the travel cot at all. There were a few other things we weren’t happy with, so we went back to reception to ask if there was anything else available. As it turned out they had just built a few new cabins, and we ended up moving into one of them instead. It was bigger, had a veranda, and a view of the Torrens River. Much better! After unpacking and putting a wash on we went to the post office in the suburb we were staying in as there was some mail waiting for us there. Then it was grocery shopping again and back to the room.
