me at the taoist temple, Beverly Hills, Cebu.

Boy last night I picked Hernie up at Mactan International Airport. We're gonna spend 3 nights here in Cebu and then onwards with Ocean Jet to Mindanao. It's gonna be so cool. Like I described in my last entry I allready checked us in to the hotel and now all that was left was my friend and travelmate. Ofcourse the plane was delayed about one hour. That's standard Cebu Pacific time..hehehe...but the joy of being reunited was none the less enourmous.

We spend this first whole day together haveing the breakfast buffet at Mariott ( I love this hotel for it's simplicity, style and very serviceminded and accomodateing staff which is why I allways book Mariott for Cebu visits) and then rented the hotel car to take us to Beverly Hills where the Taoist Temple is located.

I had read about the temple in advance and for me now that I've been there - it's one of the most beautyfull spots in Cebu and a very good spot for nice scenic pictures. But you also get finished with it quite fast - and should be able to get around the place in 30 - 45 min.

Next stop along the ride was Manadue City to meet with one of Hernie's many many cousins....was nice although it was one hell of a rain going home (not to metion when we waited outside looking for a taxi).
