Bray and Mt. Usher Gardens

We left Dunmore East this morning and drove out to Hook Head Lighthouse to have a look around. Then we headed to Mt. Usher Gardens which was absolutely beautiful. There were gardens inside gardens, a Japanese garden, a water garden and a pet cemetary. It was really a cool place.
Evidently the gardens were designed in 1868 by Edward Walpole who was from Dublin. The garden has tons of rare trees and shrubs as well as plants, trees and shrubs that are only rare in Ireland. After the garden we headed into Bray a really cool seaside town. I wasn't sure what to expect of it because I had heard that it was really commercialized and trashy, but I thought that it had the perfect blend of trash and quaintness.
