And so the Düsseldorf TB meetup begins...

Well after a little nap I went to the Central station of Düsseldorf to meetup with Lauro, who was gonna meet Devika1985 (HAPPY NOW HAHAHA) , Marloese and her husband Bart... After meeting them we took a tram down to the most expensive shopping street in Düsseldorf "Könnichs Alle" I think it was called. There we just walked by looking a little at the stored until we found a Starbucks where we decided to sit down and enjoy a cop of hot chocolate.. ahhhhhh. There we stayed for quit some time actually just sitting and exchanging different stories.. good ones and funny ones ofcourse!!! and after a little while Matt from the UK joined us well and Wouter followed up a little after that. We then took the subway towards to central station to meet up the rest the group.

... Since it only was 15:00 there were still some time left even though a good solid crowd already had showed up... I met up with a couple of the faces that looked familiar from TB and said introduced myself to the rest of the group that I hadnt seen before... And Lauro left again quickly since he had to pick up some more people for the meet...

So since we still had a good 1 and half hour to go, Darlingwish and I went to the Japanese distrikt to look for a speciel store where she needed to buy some speciel thing you only could get here and right after we went out to grab a quick bite or late breakfast/lunch before we went back to meet up with the rest of the group..

And at 18:00 we where finally all together and we all went down and took the tram to the other side of the river, were we then walked back to cross the bridge so we could see the view over the water.

The only sad thing was at that point it was raining a little bit so it kinda made the whole walk less interesting.. but we saw it!!! We then walked down the promenade towards the restaurant where we the had a litlle bit of a pittstop at a bar/cafe next to the water. Here Lauro recieved his TB price for orginazing this meetup and Bennie and Charlotte received gifts aswell  since for a upcoming birthday and a survival pack for Bennies Brazilian adventure... hahahaha.. including a kama sutra g-string hahaha!!! 

After a couple of drinks there we once again were on the move, but this time with the restaurant as the destination. It was just a 15 min. walk from there and it was almost at the foot of the Düsseldorf tower... Now thats a pretty tall tower!!!
