Preparations

September 19, 2006
I only became aware of this trip last Friday morning and am leaving in less than 12 hours. After rushing to downtown LA to process an express visa, rescheduling a bunch of other things, and hurriedly packing, I am almost ready to go. Caffeine is my friend (even that weak, insipid Starbucks brew!).
