1st Travbuddy Meet-Up in Sudbury

I was sort of ... no, I was nervous meeting up with a total stranger from Travbuddy.  Never having met a 'cyber-friend' this Travbuddy Met-Up was 'virgin territory' for me.  Dan and I looked through a magazine waiting for Bill to arrive at Starbucks ... Bill said he would be wearing a Cowboy Hat ... suddenly Dan said "there's Bill" ... we walked towards each other and introduced ... my nerves went away quickly, he was a nice guy and we quickly purchased our coffees and sat down to learn about each other ... he's our first internet friend and if this meet-up is any indication of future Travbuddy meet-ups, it won't be our last!!!!!!!!

We talked about our families, jobs, past and future travels, and 'politics' etc. Dan and I gave Bill our perspective on American Politics today and who we thought would win .

.. Bill gave us his opinion and along with who he thought would win in the long run.  He thought it neat how 'involved' Canadians are with the Hillary Clinton/Barack Obama Democratic Race ... well, I do agree with his perspective there ... to me it's an actual reality show :O) ... WE ARE CAUGHT UP IN THAT POLITICAL RAT RACE ... we watch various news spins here in Canada and even Comedia T.V. Shows like: The Mercer Report 

Being that he was on business we decided to 'turn-in' early ... I'm sure we'll all meet again ... I had the fortune of meeting someone very interesting ... oneday we'll meet the rest of his family :) ... Bring them all to Sudbury ...

Oh, the three of us found out we all worked for Footlocker ... that was pretty neat ... and the stories that went with that were funny ... we all loved our striped shirts LOL

Meet-Ups are great ... if you haven't done one, I recommend ittttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
