A day of travel

Today was a day of travel. We left the Boise airport at 6:30 am, stopped off at Salt Lake, Huston and made it to Managua by 8:30pm. We were happy to be back at the Best Western, it’s very nice there. We know hot to do this routine now.

            We forgot a few steps at the Managua airport that would have been nice to remember because it just made us look like tourists even more since we forget these little steps. Hint #1- make sure each person fills out the personal customs form! I knew we had to each fill one out but my mom said only one per family. We did remember the $5 tax per person though, so that was good. He was very annoyed of us though. Hint #2- After getting your luggage you have to pass through the exit where this guy collects your main customs paper, we didn’t have the paper ready and he too was annoyed by us. I’m going to remember these things for next time so we don’t stick out even more by being ‘stupid americanos’.
