This was the best hostel that we stayed in. We had an awesome roomie who was from Canada. He downloaded a few movies & a bunch of music on my IPOD. This room also had its own bathroom/shower/TV in it.....trust me, way cool!
Hello everyone. Well we made it to Queenstown safely. We took the smallest plan ever over here. We had to walk on the the runway to go up the stairs on the plane. It had two propellers. We had beautiful weather so the plane went over all the mountain ranges, it was so pretty to look at. We went over Mt. Cook, which is one of the most popular Mountains in the south island. It is funny though, they have no trees on their mountains, kind of crazy. Well actually they really don't have trees at all, but it is funny to us because we are so use our mountains having trees. We love it here so much. We actually decided not to go to Wanaka & stay here for couple more nights! It is weird how much alcohol is here, I can see why must people drink either beer or wine. It is $60 for a 5th of Jack, & I am not talking about any good kind of Jack....I am talking about cheap black label Jack. We have been drinking some New Zealand whiskey called Wilsons. We are bring home the bottle. We will write some more later, we just wanted to let everyone know that we got here o.k..
