Today we went into the jungles to ride the elephants. The place where we rode the elephants is the same place where they filmed Rambo 4. When we got there we were able to feed the elephants & get our picture taken with them. Then the elephants did a little show, it was so cute. They danced, gave people massages, played basketball & painted. After that we rode on the elephants through the river & the jungle. It was so different to ride the elephant, everytime the elephant went down hill, you felt like you were going to slide right off. It is a lot more bumpy then what you would think! They guy who kept the elephant in lined, he sat on the elephants head & grunted the whole time. It was quite funny. After we rode the elephants we went on a bamboo river raft ride (Sylvester stallone did the same thing). That was neat to float down the river & see all the elephants just hang out around us. It was so hot that day & the boat ride was kind of slow, that we had to wear "rice patty hats." Which I did not mind cause those damn hats helped so much. Then straight from the rive boat ride we went on a ox ride. This was very bumpy & no cushion seats! On the ox ride we really got to see how the Hill People live. Makes you feel bad for these people. Then we had a catered lunch, oh so yummie! After that we went to a orchid farm, which was awesome. In Thailand they have over 2,000 different types of orchids. Fun day!
