The street of Kampala and the changes that have taken place
In the last five years Kampala has seen many changes. I should have seen the changes last year, but I had only ten days to do a hundred things. I ended up accomplishing the main ones including a trip to visit my father's graveside and attend the family wedding of the year. My baby brother was getting married to a Rwandese princess, you have to see her to believe me this time I, have some photos of her. We left Entebbe and headed for Kampala and along the way I could see the changes. The potholes had been fixed and some of the dirty buildings alongside the road had been painted.
In Kampala, few high buildings had been erected and the streetlights on Kampala road were actually working. Wow, I felt nostalgic. It seems like everyone can now afford a car and the traffic is unbelievable, the one thing that was very frustrating was getting from one point to the other. Poor Agnes had to be our chauffeur and I could see her frustration each time we got into town.
