Agnes and I took to showing Kevin around and finding food each and every where we went. I told Agnes upon arrival that all I wanted to do eat, eat, eat, eat and eat to flush out the toxic fast foods I had taken liking to (McDonald's - my daughters snack place). Agnes being the chauffeur and seasoned Kampala driver, Kevin and I relied greatly on her skill to get us places in Kampala. PLEASE, PLEASE - If you are a first time traveler to Kampala, do NOT, I repeat do not rent a car and think you will drive it in town. You must give yourself time to see and understand the crazy style of driving. Don't say I did not warn you. If I cannot drive there after just 6 years of absence, you who has never been there will definitely not drive, lol! I'm as honest as honest gets.
Kevin, Agnes and I decided to have coffee as we waited for 12:30 p.m. when I was scheduled to go to my sister's office. I know can't recall why I was meeting my sister:). We ordered coffee and some snacks, but ended up with huge portions of food and black Forrest cake. Agnes had African tea, I had coffee and Kevin ordered fresh passion juice. When we were done eating, we took a tour of the gardens - I regret not going to the pool area as it has been renovated, next time.
Here are few photos of our Sheraton visit.
