The shopping malls
July 17, 2006
Road from the Exton station to the shopping mall. Notice how pedestrian unfriendly it is. There's no sidewalk further that way...
And later we got the info about one more shopping mall, Exton. Exton is slightly smaller than King of Prussia, which is good since you don't spend that much time trying to find your way there. And it is also easier to get to from Devon. There's a direct connection by Septa train. While to King of Prussia you have to take the train and then a bus (a train to Paoli and then a bus to KoP, or a train to Philadelphia and another bus to KoP).
It is quite annoying that the trains don't come so often after 5pm. I'm not sure, but I think there might not be any trains from 5pm to 8:50pm. So if you got o Exton you are stuck there until around 9pm ;)
But both King of Prussia and Exton are not really worth visiting if you're not interested in shopping ;) Which I'm usually not, but I do get those girly feelings of wanting to buy some new clothes from time to time. And hey, buying a notebook was a good idea too. And very satisfying as it was one of the most expensive things that I have bought with my own money (in contrast to me buying expensive things with my parents money, or rather asking them nicely to buy me something ;) yeah, they still treat me as such a child….).
