Tuesday we did the STARS & STRIPES TOUR that included Pearl Harbor, U.S.S. Missouri, Arizona Memorial and Punchbowl Cemetary. A bus picked us up near our hotel and our driver was also the guide. It rained parts of the day. Pearl Harbor was very crowded but I understand that it always is and tickets are free but only given to so many people. I would like to go back here because it was impossibe to see everything in our time frame and there was so much to view. We watched a film and then we got on a shuttle boat to view the USS Arizona memorial. It still leaks oil to this very day. We went on board and toured the USS Missouri. Back on the bus, we had a city tour of Honolulu and he took us up a side street and stopped in front of where the "BOUNTY HUNTER" works. The guy came out and waved to us and people took pictures of him but I was on the opposite side of the bus so I couldn't get one. All I could tell was that he had long hair. lol I really had no idea who he was anyways. lol
We were then taken to Punchbowl Cemetery and a World War II veteran talked to us. We saw the memorials and walked to the top with views of Honolulu and Diamond Head. When we were about done a beautiful full rainbow came into view among the lush, green area! Our guide was very comical and had us laughing so much.
