Nuuanu Pali State Park
We booked an excursion with some guy that does his own tours that took us to southeast OAHU. We first went to NUUANU PALI STATE PARK with more pretty views & then to 2 beaches (one to snorkel & one to boogie board) & stopped for lunch. I attempted to snorkel at the first beach at BELLOWS BEACH PARK
but didn't get too far. I pretty much walked around the area. We had lunch before the 2nd beach & I had a delicious shrimp sandwich (I can't remember the name of the place). The 2nd beach was one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen; WAIMANALO BEACH PARK which is southeast OAHU. We were there to "boogieboard" . My aunt & friend did but I just walked the beach taking in how pretty it was!
We then went past where a scene from where "50 First Dates" was filmed; ROBBIT BLACK ISLAND
and he took us to SANDY BEACH PARK & SHORE BREAK BEACH. Our guide said Sandy can be one of the most dangerous beaches in the world & Shore Break was where BAYWATCH was filmed. Our last stop was at a place called HALONA BLOWHOLE a natural occurance formed by molten lava tubes that run to the ocean. When the surf is right, the blowhole shoots water up to 30 feet in the air. this was pretty amazing to watch.
