This year we planned to make a cross-country trip from our home in central Califonia to Key West Florida and then back by a slightly more northern route. First plan is about 45 days.

Home at last! Just can’t wait to get back home again. Back in my own bed, Eating my wife’s good home cooking. Shucks even she made the comment that she was getting tired of having to eat out every meal. After being on the road for 37 days, it feels so good to get back home. Now we have to go through all the mail, unpack, wash, and get back to normal. No small task.

I hope to one day make a similar trip myself in the US. All my American family live either in New York or Pennsylvania...I want to explore the whole country!! Is gas very expensive for a trip like this?
