Clarksville, TN
May 6, 2008
Clarksville is nearly half way between Nashville, Tennessee and Paducah, Kentucky.
We are driving just a little farther each day than planned originally. And between that and dropping a few stops that are closed on the day we would be there or charge too much, we are now ahead of our original plan.
Again we are in a Best Western Hotel and enjoying a nice room with two beds, a microwave, and refrigerator, which is about the norm now day. We had dinner tonight at KFC. Unfortunately the bird we got was a tuff old sucker. Good slaw though.
Tomorrow is the day my wife is looking forward to the most. Paducah!!

Best Western Executive - Clarksville
The Best Western Hotel in Clarksville, Tennessee is a nice clean facility with 60 rooms in this two-story layout with exterior corridors. Our room was very nicely equipped with two queen-sized beds, a microwave, and refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, am/fm alarm clock, wireless wifi and dataports. The beds were firm and nicely made. Ice and vending machines were close by and well equipped. The staff was helpful and offered good suggestions. In the morning they offered and extended continental breakfast.
