My wife wanted to see the old Art Deco Styling of the Old Hotels in Miami, but we struggled around for a little while without any luck. The part we did see was either not very nice or built up with new skyscrapers like crazy. Maybe somebody should have said, “Miami BEACH, dumby!” but it never occurred to me. We drove around for quite some time trying to see any old buildings, but to no avail. And don’t even get me started on the toll roads. We must have paid ten dollars in tolls today, going and coming. It is the first and hopefully last time I will ever have to do that. And the traffic in late afternoon is just awful, as bad as Los Angeles.
