First planned stop

We made our first stop in Bakersfield to get a picture of a super-sized shoe where they do shoe repairs. It’s a throwback to olden days when they did that sort of thing much more often to draw in business. We have been looking through a site called Roadsideamerica.com. They have quite a few unusual, or quirky places to visit all around the United States. Some are really silly, some are informative, but they all are unusual. This Shoe Repair shop is going to be the first of many you will get to see in this blog.
