Aiken

Then we took a little side trip over the river and into South Carolina.  We had originally planned to just go over the bridge and then back just to say we have been to South Carolina. But we had met a couple in Augusta that were leaving the gardens at the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame Botanical Gardens and they had told us a little about Aiken, and how horse trainers and owners brought their horses down to Aiken to train during the winter. It really is a beautiful area. From there we turned back around and on towards Atlanta.
