A clear stream

I went out with my friends to Fureai bazaar in Yamagata city in Gifu. It takes 1 hour to drive from Inuyama to Yamagata city. This restaurant was crowded as usual. We enjoyed the delicious cold soba set lunch. It was still early in the afternoon, so we went a Suginoko campground in Seki.  It's a distance of 15 kilometers. Children's summer vacation had not started yet,  so both the road and the riverside were not crowded yet.  Itadori river is a clear stream, so we could see sweetfish were swimming in the river. The river had risen because of the heavy rain.  We were brave to dip our feet in the cold stream. After spending our time relaxing on the rock, we'd like to eat a salt-broiled sweetfish. So we stopped at a restaurant.  A sweetfish is in season right now! The sweetfish was a small size,  but it was yummy. The storekeeper was kind enough to explain the story of his fishing bamboo poles and landing nets. Some of those were handmade. We were surprised to know the price of  the ready-made fishing poles and nets.  We had a good time in the beauty of nature today. The rainy season will end soon!
