This is one of the major events of the the wine festival. Everyone gets a bit dolled up and enjoys three hours of eating some of the best food that some of the best restuarants in Texas have to offer. There is also the opportunity to enjoy wines, chocolates, pasteries, liquers and a host of other gourmet treats without any guilt. My favorites wineries included; ALAMOSA WINE CELLARS, TORRE DI PIETRA, CARMEL ROAD WINERY, and WENTE VINEYARDS. Check out their websites and think you will see why. Torre Di Piera had the great gal working named Karlie. She kept us smiling the entire evening and served a couple of great wines that are only available at the winery which included the "Dirty Girl" red, "Red Flirt" a sweeter red, "Chiaro De Luna" a sweet white. All are good and you can check their website: http://www.texashillcountrywine.com/texaswineproducts/index.html. I am sure you will love them.
Some of the food, including the DALLAS FISH MARKET whiched served a great sashimi with a citrus sauce. So many more great place and taste. Log on to the website and see more info: http://www.texaswineandfood.org/.
I am sure that when next year roles around everyone is going to want to be there.
