a short tour
We had some few hours of good sleep at Ryan's place. He slept on the couch while me and Phydie slept on his comfy bed, talking about sweet hospitality. Ryan even has some of my favorite instant noodles in his kitchen but Phydie insisted that we should eat the one we brought with us. Bad idea so I hid my bag where we have them and did the honor of cooking the ones from Ryan's. *evil grin*
It was early in the afternoon when Ryan drove us to the city center of Basel. I can't put the details of our tour since I can't really remember most of it. We just walked and walked. First, we went to see the Town Hall of the city, went inside for a bit but there was no way for us to really go inside so we left and went to the riverside. At some point of our walking I saw a sex shop and I was CURIOUS so I went in and walked out after only 5 seconds.
After that sex shop the church should be the best place to get to next. I don't remember the name of the church but it was very nicely located up a small hill. We stayed there for a while, me taking pictures, Ryan explaining some history and stuff about Basel which should've been great if I only remembered them, and Phydie still attempting to kill herself. We went down the hill to the riverside and crossed the river by boat. And then crossed back the river again but by bridge this time since it was free.
At some point again of our walking I saw some asians where supposedly one of them is a celebrity. I know I've seen that guy somewhere but I just couldn't remember where.
But my theory is that he's a TV host in a morning (or evening or maybe noon?) talk show in Japan. But there's a small part of my memory telling me that he's an action star in Hong Kong??? I swear my memory is just so... CRAPPY.We went to a chinese restaurant to eat after that but even though the food was nice I didn't eat all of it so I decided to take it with us (just took it with me but never ate it after so quite useless really). We went back to the car and drove to some Asian store near Zurich. The scenery of autumn in Switzerland was very very nice. Phydie wanted to take some pictures with my camera and I almost pushed her out of the windows when my camera almost slipped her hand as she took her hand out of the car. We were driving very fast, she should know that. Hehe.
We had a filipino food for dinner, cooked by Phydie and I... did nothing. Maybe I should take the credit for cooking the rice? But I doubt I did that too. Ryan's friend Nestea (or Nestie I dont know how to spell) came over and he was super funny. We played cards after dinner and I think I won a lot. *evil laugh* bwahahahaha
