And we're off to Munich!
We woke up at noon and had some late 'breakfast' at 2pm since we didn't have to leave until 4.30pm for our train to Munich. After finishing up some last minute preparations we left Phydie's place and walked down to the nearest subway station. 10 seconds of walking with our bags we realized something was wrong. We didn't pack well! The bags were too many and too heavy the idea of carrying them around for more than two weeks made us cry! But we didn't have time to go back and repack so we had to live and suffer, for goodness' sakes i guess!
The train ride took us 5 hours from Hamburg to Munich and I didn't get to sleep, not one little bit. I suppose I have something new to master aside from sleeping on planes now. I wonder why Phydie was able to sleep for a couple of hours when she slept for over 10 hours the night before.
And when we arrived at our hostel, she slept immediately even forgetting to change her clothes. So she slept with her jeans and remember this is the only jeans she brought with her. I should've woken her up though haha. There's a memory gap I think at the part where we had dinner as I do not remember anything of it. Probably we didn't eat! Our hostel wasn't far from the central station so the location was convenient for us.
The next morning Phydie told me that some drunk guys were banging our doors but I couldn't recall any of it as it is hard for me to mind the outside world when I'm asleep. Good thing they didn't open our door as it wasn't locked! Our room and the shower room were both at the oposite ends of the hotel corridor and I think there was only one for that floor. I felt sorry for the guy who showered after me because Phydie banged the shower door and complained how long it took him inside when actually he was there for just a couple of minutes.
