I have lived in Meppel quite a few times. I seem to keep being drawn back after sidetrips to Ireland (7 years), Australia (6 years) and other towns around The Netherlands (too many to mention). I went to school here (primary and secondary), lived with my parents when they were together and my dad after they split up, owned a house here and am now staying in my mum's holiday home while looking for accomodation for myself and my two daughters. This is already my tenth house in Meppel!

Working in Burger's Zoo

Had to get up early today. Six am on a Sunday morning, not my idea of the perfect way to spend it! Our business was participating in a fair for families with multiples, which was held in Burger's Zoo in Arnhem. Great location to be, just not for a fair like this... The best part of the day was seeing some baby giraffe's being led to their home for the night! It is a beautiful zoo though, and I would definitely recommend it!
