Pond Wilhelminapark

This morning my lovely youngest daughter woke me up just before 8am. As she is usually awake around 6 this was a blessing! We cuddled in bed alittle bit before heading downstairs. As we hadn't seen each other in almost two weeks she wanted all my attention of course, so we had breakfast and played some games. As we were meeting with my husband and our eldest daughter in the park at 11.30 and Jordan was getting a little impatient, we grabbed the stale bread and hopped on the bike. The weather was beautiful so it was lovely, a real Spring day. We got to the Wilhelminapark early, so we rode around a bit and took some pictures. We cycled past the pond, the deer park and the rose garden.

We then met with Merv and Reagan and walked around. We fed the ducks some bread and saw a duck with two ducklings. We then went to feed the deer but they didn't seem very hungry. As it was a Sunday morning they had probably had enough already! We also fed the chickens and a turkey.

Afterwards Reagan and I cycled into the city centre while Jordan went with Merv in the car. We met again at the Albert Heijn carpark, which conveniently enough is situated very close to IJssalon Toscana, where you can get some wonderful flavours of scoop icecream. We tried the mint, lemon, mango, hazelnut and pistachio. Hard to choose between some of them...

The rest of the day the girls cycled and played outside mostly.
