Today Reagan and I went into town to do some shopping. That is usually not very exciting but this time we saw Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet! Unfortunately I did not have my camera on me so I didn't get any pictures. Reagan was too shy to get her picture taken with Sinterklaas anyway, but not too shy to accept a handful op "pepernoten" from Zwarte Piet! Munching those we walked around another shop and we decided to have a drink and cake at "La Place" cafe in V&D. The view from the window seat there is very good, you can see a lot of the shopping streets and Reagan was sure she saw one of her teachers so after finishing our drinks she went on a hunt through the shop to find her. When we finally gave up we walked out the door of the shop and ran into: Reagan's teacher!
That night I had a surprise for Reagan: I had decided to take her to the Pancake Ship. She loves pancakes, and as kids get to pick a little gift from the "treasure chest" after eating it is always a popular place to go to. And it turned into an even bigger surprise as Zwarte Piet was serving our food and drinks! This time I did have my camera with me so I got a picture of Reagan and Zwarte Piet!
