Welcoming you to the park
So upon arrival at the State Park I learned the road is closed during the winter.  So I parked at the gates got the dog out of the truck and we began our walk into the park.  The road still covered in quite a bit of snow made the walk slighty difficlut with a dog who loves to be right in front of you.  Once we got to the park though the grounds were virtually snow free and the walking around was much easier.  We made our way to the Bell Tower took some snapshots and then down to the beach.  It was low tide and there is a sand bar that streches pretty far out so we went all the way down to the end and got a great shot of the lighthouse.  We found a starfish hanging out on the rocks I was hoping to see some Harbor Seals but none were visible.  After numerous attemps at trying to trip me I let my dog off her leash since there was no one around and the walk seemed to go faster.  We finally headed back up the road and got back to the truck were she gladly jumped in and sat in my seat.   After so many cloudy rainy days and after a record snowfall this winter it was nice to get out into the sunshine and walk around a little bit.  We got some nice photos and much needed excersise
