Gmarket Blues
Well, you may or may not know that a large number of Koreans shop online through Gmarket.. I'm like everyone else and buy heaps of things through the website too.
Clothes mostly.. but also bags, shoes, electronics. Whatever really.
I made the decision to go digital in the camera department the other week and after finally determining which camera was best for me right now. I made a bold move.
Swtiching from Canon to Nikon... oh ohh.
Anyway.. I ummed and arghed between a D80 and D200 for like a week, reading everything I could and seeing so many image samples it's not funny. I had 95% decided on the D200, then I turned around and ordered a D80, ha.
On my Australian credit card.. something I have never done with Gmarket before.
My new memory cards and beautiful VR 18-200mm lens arrived the next day, as usual.. My D80 was taking longer.
Out of stock.
Ok, no problem.. 3 days after swallowing the difficult news, my refund still hadn't been issued.
Out of pocket.
Slight complaint. Instructions given. Button clicked.
Oops.. no refund. I just got double-billed.
Seriously disjointed, a major complaint was made.
Everything is being remedied now and I'll have my money back in a few days.. But jeez.. still no camera.
I was really hoping to have the Nikon transition under control by the time I get to Nagasaki... hmm.
Fingers crossed.
