another day of sightseeing in london

although it rained a bit, the weather was quite good, bits of sunshine peeked through the clouds and i managed to get through a walking tour without getting wet, it only rained a bit on my way out of westminister abbey.

Walking tour was great, especially since it was free, well kind of, i tipped the guide, expecting everyone else to do the same, but most people just wandered off in the end, I think thats soooo rude, I mean nothings really free is it, he was a good guide, he deserved a tip, wish Id given him more than just a few quid

had a quick salad at the abbey then wandered down by the thames past the london eye and all the attractions, had a quick look in the Globe theatre, where i bought the creepiest rat puppet ever, I would like to have seen a show there, but they were quite booked up

and then spent some time at the Tate modern, some very unusual art, very modern indeed, lots of impressionistic stuff

went to tescos for some groceries then back to the hostel for an early night as am battling a rather nasty cold, and want to be better in time for my next and final tour to cornwall
