travelled today to the lakes district, stopped in a nice village/town for huge lunch at an irish pub, which after a whole week in ireland, (yet to blog) you would have thought id had enough, but the food was decent and the portions huge, and actually refrained from drinking first alcohol free day in about a week

on the way back we stopped at the Beatrix Potter museum, full of all kinds of adorable creatures from her stories, lovely bunnies, squirrels, kittens, piglets and the like, gorgeous statues in lovely scenes, cutest museum yet. got myself a peter rabbit teddy-sooo cute

walked by the harbour where i got closer to some white swans than i have ever been in my life, very friendly very used to people, enormous creatures, no where near as graceful on land as they are in water, but still beautiful
