The Bahamas are gorgeous
From the moment you spot the islands from the airplane you will be captivated. The water is sapphire - turquoise and warm!
The people are the most charming aspect. I went by myself on business but never felt lonely. Try the Poop Deck for dinner. They will accomodate your special needs. I am vegetarian and had the best of meals there. The wait staff was extremely caring and helpful with suggestions about where to go and what to do. Its by the beach so added charm in that.
I stayed at the Sheraton on Cable beach and don't have a single complaint. Right from the check-in staff to housekeeping to bar staff and restaurants - they are amazingly friendly and no hassles. It helps that the hotel is right on the beach and they have many pools to swim in as well. There is a casino too but hey outdoors is the name of the game here. Loved it!!
I walked around downtown and went to Senor Frogs. It was full of tourists.
Swam with the dolphins on the BlueLagoon. I will definitely go back again!!
