Buenos Aires, my first day in this beautiful city :)
It was around 3:30am when we arrived to
Finally we were ready and there was a taxi driver waiting for us.
I had already made a reservation in a nice hotel, recommended by a former colleague. It’s very well located, in a nice area - Retiro. By the way, the airport is not so close to downtown. The drive took us almost 45min. By the time we were ready with the check in, it was almost 5am!!!!
I went to my room and asked for a wake up call at 6:30am, yes I know it sounds crazy, but I wanted to go to the gym and do some exercise before starting my working day.
By 4pm we were ready with meetings and everything. So it was time for a bit of sightseeing.
Well, I have already made plans for going back to
Anyway, by 5pm I was ready to walk around Retiro – the area where the hotel was located - and take a couple of pictures of this beautiful city. Retiro is a really nice neighborhood, featured by 3-lined streets, French style buildings, art galleries and cool afterhours. The parks are amazing and I love the way the old and new buildings are together. What I have heard about
I couldn’t take all the pictures I’d have wanted, because it would have been bizarre for my boss, hahaha. This TB is my secret identity, hahaha.
Oh! I was forgetting that for lunch we went to a buffet. The meat was great.
For dinner, we just stayed at the hotel.
The food was very good and we had our delicious wine too. By 8:30pm we were ready. He was ready to go to bed and sleep and I was ready to… meet a TB!!!!!
I contacted Sammy just before leaving
I was thinking about taking a cab and go to the bar where we were supposed to meet, but the guy from the front desk just told me that that place was just a couple of blocks away and I could walk. And so I did ;-) Well, you would be able to read the details in my Meeting TB Blog ;-)
It was just Tuesday but the city was completely alive! That’s great!!!!

This hotel is a 5 *'s hotel. So you can imagine how great it is. It’s located in Retiro, a really nice area. The staff is friendly and you find a lot of information regarding what to do in Bs. As.
They served a nice buffet breakfast and the restaurant is very good. Of course, you are in Argentina, so it doesn’t matter which wine you choose, all of them are so tasty.
I have to say it’s an expensive hotel, but the service and amenities are really good. You have a gym, pool, sauna, etc.
I'm glad I stayed there because of business ;)
