I was reading the travel forum at work when it said that there is going to be a mini meet up in Santa Monica on March 28. I contacted pvtjoy (the organizer)to let her know that i was thinking of going, i gave her my contact number and immediately responded to me. She sounded really nice on the phone, we chatted for a little bit. She said don't think about going just go and you'll have a good time, boy was i glad i did because it was a blast! I want to thank Joy for convincing me to go.
The meet up was great, i finally met with Mel ( Joy had mentioned her name during our conversation) she's quite a girl, very funny, energetic and friendly.
So i met with code173(cool guy from Barstow, imagined he droved five hours to meet with us), ocwarren happens to be code173's carpool, he's cool, i met Dan from Michigan, he was telling me that he had just recently came from Southeast Asia not too long ago, very nice guy. Vinnie, i did'nt get to talk to him, he's somewhat quite. There were only four guys among the group so can you imagine how lucky they are hanging out with all this beautiful girls;-)
I got to meet with Alina from Toronto, Tracy, Tiffany from Temecula, Carol from Santa Barbara,Jenn (who thought that the party was over so she decided to put her pj's on and call it a night but Joy convinced her to join us as well) she came and was happy to see Mel and Silby! Mel and Jenn met before from a previous meet up and Silby had gone on a trip to Mexico with her.
Around 11:00 ish, i asked everyone if they are up for anything maybe go to another bar or club. Since i live in Santa Monica and i know the area pretty well, i recommended Ma'Kai in ocean ave. This used to be my hang out place and it still is, so i told them i know a good place. At first i was kind of worried that we may have to go in line, i got there first and Joy,Alina and Demitrius (omg, i almost forgot to mentioned him)so.
I want to thank everyone for bringing their camera's, what a great photos!
