Random notes on my big trip to Europe.

Climbing mount Yên Tử

Mount Yên Tử is about 130km from Hanoi.  It is only 1km tall but is foggy and cloud covered most of the year, with view of most Eastern North Vietnam, including Halong bay.  The little temple on top of the mountain, worshiped by thousands of Vietnamese buddists, is believed to be the Buddist Capital of Vietnam.

Are you a mushroom fan?
Even if mushroom is not your favourite 'meat', this restaurant is still worth a try. You'll be amazed by how many different kind of mushroom offered on the menu, and it will be overwhelming. Feel free to ask for recommendation from the staff. Just choose the soup base, pick a few types of mushroom, add any vegetable and meat you'd like and it will be a meal that you'd remember for a very long time.
