Just got lucky!

*under construction* "Intense, passionate and short." That's the kind of romance that would leave you asking for more, then it would later on stick in your mind as the side effect wears off and just smile to yourself as you remember how ecstatic it has made you.;) 6 countries in 30 days - this limited time is not enough to see the wonders of these places and I know I didn't give them justice by only stopping by for a while but I'll definitely go back...I badly want to go back soon :)

Just got lucky!

The van dropped us off at the bus terminal and we went to check the timetable. The first one leaves at 13:30 and the second at 16:30. "What time is it?", Wayne asked. I said 13:30. Let's go! Then a bus conductor waved at us and told us to get on the bus! Neither of us wanted to wait until 16:30 for the next trip, really! So even if our tummies have to suffer without anything to digest for another 4 hours, we got to do it! :)   It was packed but we have to squeeze ourselves in and just like some magic, the conductor found seats for us! hahaha! The two-seater turned into a three-seater! Do you want to know how he did it?! He let the two passengers stand up for a while then pulled the cushion seat a little over the edge to provide support for my right butt cheek while the one seated by the window had her right butt cheek sagging into the hole. The girl in the middle was lucky and I wish it was me! Haha! Then the guy nicely took my bag and place it at the front. We paid a little more than what the locals pay for but we couldn't complain with the way the conductor ordered someone to give up his seat for Wayne and the way people try to make you feel comfortable and try to accomodate you. They're all so nice. :) Just by seeing those smiling faces, the long 4-hour ride on a smoke-belching ordinary bus, the thick dust covering up my oily face, the stench of fish and chicken shit, were nothing I could bitch about...and right there I knew I was going to love Laos. :)
