Train trip

Well I finally got my husband to go overseas. He was hooked the first day. Vancouver, Alaskan cruise, ending in Los Angeles. Hubby also got to drive a Mustang convertable while in Canada and a brand new Harley in Los Angeles.

Train trip

Today the ship docked in Skagway. The train line came right up on to the wharf. It looked strange standing on the deck looking down at the train.  We got off the ship and walked over to the train.  We went on the "White Pass" scenic railway. It was a 3 hour journey. It took us through the Yukon terriortory. There was a commentary on the history of the goldmining in area.  The scenery was breathtaking! There was something said about the trains which made Andrew ask why they didn't mention the trains that were over the cliff. Maybe they thought it was better not to mention them? Haha

The train took us right back to the ship again!
