Last day in LA
October 3, 2005
We checked out of our hotel, left the luggage their and headed for Hollywood Blvd. We had a late flight out so we had plenty of time to look around. We got to check out the touristy footprints of the stars and of course, the walk of fame. I got a hug from a fake Mickey Mouse. There was a fake Chewbacca as well but it was his lunch time so he had his head off. We checked out the Kodak theatre, had a great view of the HOLLYWOOD sign and sat on the 'Casting Couch'. It was an interesting shopping mall there. I loved the piano hanging between the escalators. Eventually we headed back to our Hotel as we thought it would be easy to have dinner at the Chinese restaurant nearby. Wouldn't you know it? It was closed for Jewish New Year! Thats Beverly Hills for you. We ended up going back to the hotel to have a light meal in the bar area. It was good. Then our chauffeur turned up to take us to the airport. A bit early so we had a bit of a tour. We didn't go on the major road, we went through the suburbs, which was good. Time to check in and wait for our plane. It was a great holiday!
