The coolest thing that ever happened to us

oh my, there it is in all of its glory, animal rights violations and all!

While in Flores, we happened to spot a big blue circus tent across the lake. Oh yes. thats right.  Animal rights, kiss my ass! im going to the circus!!! and so we did. we crossed the bridge and walked toward the tent with an elephant casually standing by (he didnt really have that much of a choice i guess...he was attached to a big heavy metal chain).  We realized that the show didnt start until 8pm that night and it wasnt "technically" open. so we climbed the fence to see the animals anyway. We saw lions and tigers and got to pet the elephant. wow. this really goes into my top ten best days ever. or it would if i could ignore the fact that the animals were being stuffed into tiny cages and being ridden by humans in sparkly costumes.
