The End of the Road

Bogota Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

After graduating from college, we chose the obvious path of a one way plane ticket to mexico. Our only plan is to make one as we go.

The End of the Road

So here I am at the end of my trip, the last city, la ultima lugar.  And what a wonderful last few days it has been!  The city of Bogota is filled with action, from the students and teachers marching in the street past the colonial churches and art museums to the happening nightlife and fashion scene, all surrounded by majestic blue-green mountains.  The climate may be a little chilly, but that doesn't seem to keep anyone inside.  There is a ton to do without really planning to do anything at all, and the wonderfully welcoming and friendly people of the country make this possible.  Alas, thanks for the good times Bogota!  I will remember you when I am sitting at home watching Simpsons reruns on an oversized tv, in just about 2 days now.

Oh yes, and thanks to everyone for keeping up with our blog and all the nice comments.  Hope we helped to shed some light on some of the seemingly lesser known regions of the world.
